Semi-Scripted & Unscripted

Productions

Look ma, no script! I was involved in the conception, pitching, strategy, planning, creative production (pre and post), partner sourcing, and project management of these concepts where freeflowing conversations and unpredictable reactions are edited into social-friendly formats.

Entertainment influencers are given early access to the first episodes of hotly anticipated upcoming series, to give fans exclusive first looks and hints of exciting info - without spoiling it all.

Say What Matters

The controversial nature and impact of 13 Reasons Why’s first season meant we needed to encourage empathy and kindness more than ever for its second. We wanted to emphasize the value of showing emotional vulnerability as a way to break down barriers between close friends, and even family, especially in Singapore, where mental illness and health aren’t still taken seriously statewide yet.

Gamified interviews for Google reports

Set to be released at an exclusive event for industry leaders before its public launch, we created an organic KOL campaigns that leaned into creating content that KOLs could post on their own LinkedIn channels, shot in 15 mins per speaker, edited, and delivered on the same day.

The goal was for our KOL experts to offer key insights and encourage the audience to download the full report. To attract speakers to agree to our films, we designed a simple, yet specific concept (a game!) that was aligned with both the report and their industry vertical.

史上第一個太空天燈-太空迷航任務 · Space Lantern

Yup, we sent a lantern into space, and livestreamed it. For the first season of Lost In Space, we designed a Taiwanese lantern carrying a message for the Robinson family and sent it forth into the great beyond. A website of facts about the launch, like how far it travelled before it descended, was also set up.

Truth or Denga

Off the back of an investigative quest to seek the secret of the Iron Fist, the cast of Iron Fist in Singapore is welcomed by Chua Enlai in Chinatown for a game of truth or dare, in Jenga form. This was the first time international Netflix talent had swung by Singapore for their press tour.

What’s New On Nekflix

A lovely nenek (Malaysian grandmother) takes us through the month’s most anticipated upcoming releases and shares her own cute story or two related to the subject matter of the titles. Audiences loved seeing us give beloved grannies the spotlight.

Self, Made for Saya

A podcast series that examines the complex and nuanced intertwining of professional life in Asia, I produced, planned, and designed the content and channel strategy and set up a foundational conversation structure, so that I could hand production off to Saya’s founders to independently run themselves.
